The 105-unit, 96,770 square foot Heartis Village North Shore in Glendale north of Milwaukee is part of the firm’s Midwest expansion to fill local unmet needs
GLENDALE, Wis., and DALLAS, Oct. 11, 2017 – In a continuation of its expansion in the Midwest to provide new senior living options in underserved areas, Caddis™ has begun developing its first senior living community in Wisconsin.
Heartis® Village North Shore in Glendale, about nine miles north of Milwaukee, will feature 105 spacious assisted living and memory care apartments, beautifully landscaped grounds and a host of first class amenities. The 96,770 square foot community, which will be located at 100 W. River Woods Parkway, is expected to be completed in early 2019.
Renowned for its Heartis senior communities in Texas, Caddis began expanding in the Midwest in the last two years with the development of senior communities in Peoria, Ill. and Orland Park, Ill. near Chicago. The national healthcare real estate firm, which is headquartered in Dallas, also recently began expanding in the Southeast by breaking ground on senior residences in Georgia.

The new community will be managed by Pathway Senior Living LLC, a Chicago-based company that operates senior living communities in Wisconsin, Illinois, Kansas and Minnesota. The architect for the project is Austin, Texas-based Katus, and the general contractor is Stevens Construction Corp., which is headquartered in Bloomington, Minn.
